Thanks to a special agreement with our registry office, weddings can take place in our garden, in the Feng-Shui domed hall or on the terrace. This is possible because we can offer suitable rooms in the hotel in case of bad weather.

If you would like to organise a ceremony in one of the surrounding churches or in our historic castle we recommend:
– the baroque cathedral in the medieval surroundings of the main square in Pöllau
– the famous pilgrimage church Maria am Pöllauberg with a magnificent view of the valley
– the Gothic churches of St. Stefan and St. Anna are our insider tips
– or in the fresco hall or the refectory in Pöllau Castle.

These very special places offer a magnificent ambience for civil weddings.

We offer you a lovely atmosphere in nature

Celebrate your most beautiful day at the Organic Restaurant RETTER, the perfect wedding location. You say yes and we organise your wedding in a romantic atmosphere and a wellness holiday with your loved ones in our organic nature resort!

Wedding parties up 30 people are ideal. Treat your family to a relaxing time and spend 1 or 2 nights at our organic nature resort. The restaurant can be booked in conjunction with 10 hotel rooms. For the bridal couple, we recommend booking our TOWER SUITE with a view of the wedding garden.

Our service for your special day
  • Enjoy delicious aperitifs in the garden in front of the hotel, in the hotel lobby or in the Garden of the Senses to get you in the mood for a special wedding celebration. In case of rain, we have fantastic alternatives.
  • The congratulations of your friends and family will be captured in pictures: wedding snapshots and group photos in an idyllic garden setting, by the natural pond or in the wedding garden.
  • After the ceremony, we await you with an aperitif on the terrace or in the wedding garden in front of the wedding hotel.

As a member of SLOW FOOD Austria our cuisine reflects our rural surroundings. We invite you to enjoy gourmet dishes from our Gault Millau listed restaurant (1 toque), the main ingredients of which are organically certified regional delicacies, and our natural fruit juices from our own orchard meadows.

Natural products, processed as unadulterated as possible, top quality and freshness are the basic requirements for your enjoyment. We offer you seasonal buffet and menu suggestions for your wedding. Our head chef, Jürgen Archam , and our sommelier, Michael Pelzmann, will help you put together your choice of food and drinks. Your wedding menu will inspire you. Our director, Mr Erwin Maier, will be happy to advise you on all aspects of the event. We feel obliged to fulfil your expectations.
