Vorau Abbey

Vorau Abbey is a former monastery castle and was founded in 1163. From 1625 to the 18th century, the Augustinian Canons’ Monastery was magnificently furnished. Johann Cyriak Hackhofer is just one of many famous artists who redesigned Vorau in the Baroque era. Travel time from Hotel Retter 30 minutes.
